HBGAO to promote individual Growers to REGISTER with Foodland Ontario for free benefits to use in promoting an Ontario FOOD Crop. d. Link HBGAO to Foodland Ontario website. e. HBGAO will help write 2 profiles of Members who are registered with Foodland, to be featured on the Foodland Website. f. HBGAO to consider economic advancement opportunities under the “Grassroots Growth Program”. g. HBGAO exec will contact Ontario Maple Syrup Producers Association exec to discuss opportunities in creating new blends of the two products. h. Foodland will assist in linkage of HBGAO to Educational facilities where professional Chefs might research and experiment with new uses of Haskap as fresh or preserved food. h. Foodland will assist HBGAO Executive to explore opportunities in Ontario “Beverage Alcohol”. i. OMAFA staff will promote Ontario Haskap to be made available in the Government owned ONR “Club Cars” that will return to passenger rail service between Toronto and Timmins in 2026. j. OMAFA staff will assist in export opportunities for Haskap to all destinations. k. OMAFA staff will assist HBGAO in making linkage to the “Vineland Research and Innovation Centre” for developing improved mechanical Haskap harvesting and pruning automation.
